RE: Possibility of creating a haploid with nanoparticles

Hi, my name is Andrew and I am a student filmmaker currently designing a short Science Fiction film based around the principle and ethics of cloning/nano-technology in the near future. I am curious as to whether it will soon be/already is scientifically viable to generate a haploid using nano-particle technology? i.e. If there are nano-particles in existence that could theoretically be used to artificially generate 23 chromosomes that may not necessarily need to come from a human donor, that could then be combined with 23 chromosomes from a human donor to create a developing fetus?

P.S. Please feel free to check out my Wordpress blog to get a bit more understanding about my project:

I would appreciate any professional feedback on this topic!
-Andrew.
